The Sun Does Wonders For Productivity

It was so nice today that by noon I had to call it a day. Lunch at the Taco Truck, Gelato at Whole Foods and finally off to Discovery Park.

Discovery Park Has Great Holiday Programs

The Discovery Park Environmental Learning Center has great program offerings to get you in the mood for the holidays in a sustainable way while learning more about your natural environment. And now you can book yourself into classes online at www.seattle.gov/parks. Just click on SPARC.

Ornaments for the birds
Decorate your backyard for the holidays with ornaments that will attract and feed birds. We'll make yummy treats and then explore a bit of Discovery Park's "backyard" to look for winter feathered flocks. Please register by November 28. The cost is $12, and $10 for each additional person.
Saturday, December 1, 1:30 - 4 p.m.

Holly-Day Decorations
Spruce up your home for the coming winter. Create wreaths, garlands, and sprays using English Ivy, Scot's Broom and holly. You'll be the envy of the neighborhood and a habitat hero too. We provide basic material. Please bring your own special ribbons, cones, or other unique decorations. Please register by December 5. The cost is $20 and $16 for each additional person.
Saturday, December 8, 1:30 - 4 p.m.
