The Marchex MyZip.net experiment is dead. I think the idea was sound and could have been used to really kick up their dying Openlist network, but the marketing guys were probably to old school to understand. Oh well, I will miss my 98101.net blog.

Your blog really seemed to get some traffic, it must be frustrating to be locked out with no notice. My stats just never really picked up, possibly because I was already blogging all over town somewhere else.

Hi, I was 94041.net and it was my very first blog. I had no idea it was all about to end, especially as they provided heaps of advice about how to increase the amount of traffic. I was just getting confident enough to email the site address around when it folded - so i am glad i didnt as it would have been pretty embarrassing.... Did make me realise how boring my neighbourhood really was though, so i have decided to move.
