Seattle Start Ups

Seattle is a huge market for start ups, and as a result many of my friends have founded start ups or are associated with them.

Here are some of my favorite local start ups

Shelfari is a social network for book lovers. Such a great concept and site, you can create virtual shelves and share your favorite books with your friends. You can check out my Shelfari bookshelf on the bottom right of this blog.

Teachstreet is like yelp for classes and teachers. Find a great yoga instructor, or dance classes by neighborhood. Once you find a teacher or take a class you can rate them.

Creditnet is a credit card resource site with information and services for credit repair, credit offers, company reviews and anything else you could possibly want to know about credit cards and credit.

Thanks for blogging about Creditnet Alex! We have received a lot of positive feedback from our regular users concerning the redesign, and we are excited to launch a new Credit Blog as well by the end of August. Hope you will also subscribe to our RSS Feeds to receive weekly credit tips and updates on featured articles about what's going on in the dynamic world of credit. Thanks again for your comment and all your help.
