My weekend in Seattle via Instagram

FRIDAY
Leaving NYC headed back to Seattle
Arrive and straight to dinner with Franz Falkowski and Matt Statz

SATURDAY
One of my good friends suprised me with the Cloud Strife Buster Sword (wooden replica).  Super geeky but so awesome!  Thank you Mason
Dinner at Poco Wine Bar and get ready for the Seattle Ruckus Bar Crawl.  Which be the way Poco is one of the most best kept secrets in Seattle.  Probably the best Mac & Cheese on Capitol Hill and probably Seattle.  If you get a chance swing by and check it out.
Ruckus Bar Crawl in full effect, drinking at my favorite restaurant Grim's before moving on.
Laura (Grim's) and friends already drunk at bar stop #3 Purr
Started the bar crawl with 30+ but only a good 20 of us made it all the way till the end and danced at the Cuff.  One of the busier Saturday nights that I have seen in a very very long time.

SUNDAY

Late lunch/dinner with Josh at Barrio.  Can't go wrong with the Pork Loin Al Pastor

Dinner #2 at Tin Table with some of my best friends.  Tons of laughs and some amazing dessert.  It was actually my first time at Tin Table though I have walked by it a million times, so glad I finally was able to check it out.

MY WEEK SO FAR

Was at Grim's Monday night and check out PiscoLogia which is some kind of Peruvian clear Brandy.  Very very delicious and this morning to my surprise I found sugar free Golazo in my fridge.  Already had 6 this morning!!

Marination Mobile - Life Changing Tacos!

My friend Dave told me all about the Marination Mobile bbq korean taco truck and when I saw it parked up on Capitol Hill about a month ago I finally gave it a try. Best food decision I will most likely make all year. Seriously these tacos have changed my life and outlook on what mobile food means.

Seriously if there is one thing you do next week for lunch, make sure its the Marination Mobile, I kid you not, once you have their Aloha Sliders or Miso Chicken Tacos it will change your weekly priorities. You'll be waiting anxiously each week for your next opportunity to taste some taco goodness.

You can find them by visiting their site http://marinationmobile.com/

What I Love About Seattle: Bauhaus Coffee House

Seattle has an amazing coffee shop scene, unlike any where else I have ever been with exception to Portland (Portland is like Seattle's little sister / they have a similar culture)
Photo from Flickr genesse
Photo from Flickr mvjantzen
Bauhaus is inviting and always packed full of people from the moment it opens till it closes at 1AM. People reading, writing novels, doing homework, chatting with friends and it's not uncommon for this all to happen to the soundtrack of some amazing music like Morrissey. There is something comforting about being surrounded by your fellow Capitol Hillers to the sweet sound of lattes and mochas being made. (Bauhaus on Yelp)

Shop Local: Veridis Clothier Boutique

Veridis is a small clothing boutique that opened on November 28th with one mission in mind and that is to "to facilitate the aesthetic expression of our diverse clientelle" (from the website)

Check out some of the lines they carry (link)

Here is what Seattle Daily Candy had to say

"You’ll find gorgeous leather clutches by San Franciscan Helena de Natalio and Velvet Angels stilettos. Select a silky Madison Marcus frock to take out on New Year’s night. Or toughen up in an absitively buttery soft Doma bomber. Leather pants and wool knits from Canadian line Obakki make a cozy but cool winter wardrobe.

Guys can get dapper, too, in Hause of Howe, Trovata, and shoes by Pantofola d’Oro.

Making it easy for everyone to look put together." (Daily Candy)

Veridis is located at 1205 E. PIKE STREET | SEATTLE 98122

New Condo Conversion on Capitol Hill

Seventeen07 is here

Located at 1707 Boylston Ave
Prices range from about 189k to 369k depending on square footage and what floor your on. It's an older building but the units are bigger then what you normally find in a brand new building for the same price.

The most unique thing about this building was a full service dog grooming area in the basement with doggy shower.

Worth checking out if your looking to buy a condo on Capitol Hill
